Health Care Coverage
Like immigration reform, healthcare reform continues to evolve. Many families, including immigrants, have benefited from obtaining health insurance through Covered California, a branch of the Affordable Care Act. Covered California can assist you with health insurance inquiries in both English and Spanish.
Conejo Free Clinic provides medical services to the Oxnard and Ventura County communities who may have limited or no other access to care. Services include primary and preventative health care, cardiology, dermatology, internal medicine, neurology, podiatry, flu vaccinations, routine eye exams and free glasses, and a variety of dental services. Although free, a donation of $40 is suggested per visit.
